Peter Lerangis to visit Underwood March 2

Mr. Lerangis is the author of the The Sword Thief and The Viper's Nest, the 3rd and 7th books in the popular 39 Clues series. He will be speaking to our 3-5 students. Click here for more information on Mr. Lerangis and The 39 Clues

Gail Haley to visit Underwood March 24

Ms. Haley is a beloved author, illustrator, and puppeteer. She won the Caldecott Award in 1970 for A Story, A Story. She will be visiting with all grade levels. Click here for more information on Ms. Haley.

Underwood will be celebrating READ ACROSS AMERICA the week of March 1-5

KIT (Kids Into Thinking) Program

This K-2 program consists of activities that provide extension opportunities for level 4 students. Volunteers are needed!

Conscious Discipline Parent Cohort 2 sessions offered 2nd Thursday of each month 4:00-5:15 7:00-8:15

Conscious Discipline is a comprehensive classroom management program and socio-emotional curriculum. It is based on current brain research, child development information, and developmentally appropriate practices. Underwood parents have the opportunity to participate in Dr. Becky Bailey's Conscious Discipline training using the DVD series the PTA gave the school last year.
